Acceptance

Any reservation, deposit, or prepayment implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, excluding any other documents.

Reservation

Reservations must be guaranteed by:

Written confirmation (email, fax, or mail), and
Valid credit card details, or
Prepayment at least 10 days before arrival

For bookings of three rooms or more (or banquets), a deposit schedule applies. Failure to comply may result in cancellation.

Reservations are confirmed upon issuance of a booking number. Any modification or cancellation must be made in writing and confirmed by the hotel.

Late cancellation:

Less than 5 days before arrival (1–3 rooms)
Less than 1 month before arrival (4+ rooms)

Late cancellations, no-shows, or early departures result in full charge. Deposits are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-exchangeable.

Single occupancy in a double room is charged at the double rate.

Accommodation

Rooms are located in the Château and its Orangerie.

Check-in: from 4:00 PM
Check-out: before 12:00 PM

Dogs are allowed in the hotel (on a leash): €20 per animal/night.

Restaurant

Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant.

Unless specified, beverages are not included.

Once a meal has started, service continues through to coffee. Entertainment may only take place after dessert and with prior approval.

Menus may change depending on supply of fresh products, without compensation.

A reserved but unused dinner incurs a €40 fee per guest.

For groups over 10:

Menu confirmed 15 days prior
Final guest count 72 hours prior (basis for billing)

Service hours:

Lunch: 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM
Dinner: 7:30 PM – 9:15 PM

In case of delay, the hotel may adapt service to comply with closing times.

Additional Information

All areas are non-smoking.

The property includes potential hazards (moats, ponds, forest). Children must be supervised at all times. The hotel declines all liability for accidents.

Any damage caused will be charged.

Events require prior written approval. The organizer must restore the premises at their own expense.

Château d’Étoges may cancel in cases of force majeure (strike, fire, power outage, water damage, etc.).

The organizer is responsible for unpaid extras of guests.

No compensation may be claimed for incidents beyond the hotel’s control (e.g., utility outages).

All disputes fall under the jurisdiction of competent courts.
